Our Massage Therapists are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario are actively involved in continued learning and have additional training in Sports, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic and Relaxation Massage. A Physiotherapist trained to evaluate the pelvic floor can provide assessment and treatment of the following conditions: stress or urge incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, pregnancy-related pain (pre and post-partum), interstitial cystitis, dyspareunia, vaginismus and coccydynia. Pelvic floor physiotherapy can help to retain the muscles and nerves of the pelvic floor to improve its strength and function.

Dave’s primary focus is providing patient care for chronic pain & sports injury management. He mentors and educates therapists in practical orthopaedic injury management & manual therapy. Dave received his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education/Kinesiology and Psychology (Honours) at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada (1995). He also holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada (1997). He has additional training in Mulligan Concepts, Taping, Acupuncture, MacKenzie protocols, Active Release Technique, and Muscle Balancing (Sarhman and Cumerford) and has completed a Residency and Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapy. He is a member of the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapy and the Canadian Physical Therapy Association.

In the field of sports medicine, Dave has provided prevention, injury management and emergency action plans for events ranging from track and field to rugby. He has also participated in a variety of sports at a provincial level through high-school and played Senior A hockey through university. Crystal works as both a Registered Massage Therapist in our Petrolia clinic and as a certified Medical Exercise Specialist (providing rehabilitative exercise training to individuals with specific needs within and outside the Petrolia clinic.) Crystal has been a personal trainer for 3 years and has furthered her education to bring her interest in the medical and exercise world together by completing her Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) certification. Crystal’s goal is to use exercise and functional outcome measures to improve her clients experience when transitioning from post-injury care back into regular activities, combining maintenance exercises to prevent further re-injury. Sally received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at University of Western Ontario in 1988. She has received additional training in many manual therapy courses, McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concepts. She achieved her certification in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2009. Sally is a member of the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapy and the Canadian Physical Therapy Association. Sally initially studied at St Joseph’s Health Services in London, Ontario in acute neurology and then worked at both in and out patient orthopaedic wards prior to moving to an orthopaedic and sports clinic.

In Feb 2001, Sally began working at Four Counties Health Services in Newbury providing outpatient orthopaedic services. Sally has also worked as a Professor in Physical Therapy at Western University.
